Enrollment Verification

Students must submit an Enrollment Verification (EV) form every term they want to use education benefits. 这 applies to all students 使用 经验丰富的, In-Service Military, or Military Connected benefits.

如果你 are a Military Connected Spouse or Dependent student who is 使用 the 学费 Waiver you must complete the application for that benefit every term.

When enrolling in 课程, be aware that VA Federal GI Bill® benefits will 只有 cover 课程 that apply toward your current major. 如果你 have questions about this, please reach out to the 经验丰富的s Office.

Using VA Benefits at Multiple Schools

You are able to use VA Federal GI Bill® benefits while attending multiple schools. Most often, 博天堂官方 students will also enroll at Oregon State University or OSU students will enroll at 博天堂官方.

如果你 are seeking a degree from OSU and need to have 课程 at 博天堂官方 certified as the guest school, you will need to complete the Oregon State University Parent School Letter 通过DocuSign. You will login to DocuSign 使用 your ONID credentials to fill out and sign your portion of the form.

If 博天堂官方 is not the school where you are seeking your degree, then you will need to get your home school to send a Parent School Letter (PSL) to the 经验丰富的s Office. Please contact the 经验丰富的s Office at your home school to see about their process.

Guidelines for Choosing Courses

 VA Federal GI Bill® Benefits:

  • Only covers 课程 that apply toward your current major
  •  如果你 need a course below the 100 level, the VA will 只有 cover it if the course is taken in person or as a hybrid course
  • Chapter 31 Exception: VA Counselor may approve 课程 outside of a student’s major if the course applies toward their employment goals.

In-Service 军事利益:

  • 学费 Assistance is different for every branch of the military. 一定要检查一下 with your ESO regarding specific requirements.
  • Students 使用 ArmyIgnitED must have an approved degree plan uploaded to their ArmyIgnitED account and should follow that plan.

As part of the certification process, the SCO reviews all enrollment verification forms to make sure that 课程 are covered by the education benefits a student is 使用.

夏季学期
  • When selecting 课程 for Summer be aware that 博天堂官方 offers both 10-week and 5-week 课程.
  • 如果你 want to receive the full MHA throughout the Summer term you must be enrolled full-time throughout the summer.

If a student is enrolled in two 5 credit 课程 that run during the same 5-week section, then they are considered full time for those 5 weeks and not enrolled for the second 学期过半. 这 could mean 只有 getting the MHA for 学期过半.

If a student is enrolled in two 3 credit 课程 that run during the entire 10-week term they are considered half-time for those 课程. If the student then adds another 3 credit course that is 5-weeks long, that course is also considered ½ time. 这 makes the student full-time during the 5-week course but half-time during the second 学期的5周.
